Overview
The transparent electrode should exhibit high light transmittance (>90%) in the visible region of 380~780nm wavelength and low sheet resistance (<20Ω/sq). The transparent electrode using these high optical and electrical characteristics is suitable in various fields including household appliances, medical equipment, defense industry, transparent display, digital signage, next-generation mobile communication, solar cell, touch panels, and OLED.
Flexio's silver nanowire (AgNW) can control the diameter and length based on the polyol synthesis method. In particular, it has a nanometer-sized diameter (<20nm) and a length of several tens of micrometers (>20um) suitable for transparent electrodes. Silver nanowire is attracting attention as a next-generation flexible transparent electrode material because it can produce a flexible, low-resistance, low-haze, and high-transmittance film.
“Flexionet” film made of Flexio’s silver nanowires provides bending stability, scratch resistance, chemical resistance, environmental resistance and flexibility based on a stable network structure. It has characteristics that meet the required electrical and optical properties for flexible and foldable displays.
